Regarding the term bereavement, grief and mourning are often used reciprocally making communication unreliable. bereavement is the experience of losing someone close, which is a reaction to bereavement consisting of thoughts, feelings, behaviors and physiological issues varying in pattern and intensity over time. acute grief is the beginning response with a mix of separation and traumatic distress eventually mutating into integrated grief that is permanent. while, mourning is the process of the last consequences of loss and imitation into the memory systems and the ability to receive or obtain joy and satisfaction throughout life.
