About Us

Grief Is Life Transitioning is is an online Limited Liability Company dedicated to support first time grievers and ongoing grievers to develop a tight niche support group to help deal with grief rather than feeling alone. This will help promote individuals to live productive lives in a healthy and positive manner while remembering their loved ones.

In 2018, my nephew, Terrell Devon Grant passed away from leukemia, leading to the development of this company. As a military veteran and a contributor to the Grief and Bereavement community, it’s our goal to help support those grieving. Our mission  is to help individuals to properly process grief, come together to support each other through the grieving process and provide educational resources. My career experience in studying grief and bereavement, providing professional grief services, and having a personal experience became a passion for me to provide resources to those experiencing grief which drives the very mission of our company.

The founder of Grief & Bereavement Resource Center, Sylvia Grant, wears many hats: United States Army veteran, certified grief and bereavement counselor, social worker, and business owner. In 2018, her nephew, Terrell Devon Grant passed away from leukemia, leading Grant to understand the importance of adequately processing grief, coming together to support each other through the grieving process, and providing educational resources available in the community. Her life experience and passion for providing a one-stop resource center for those experiencing grief can thrive and be supported driving the very mission of our foundation.
